Information We Collect
When you create an account or sign in including via Google or Facebook we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided by that login method). When you book a trip, we also collect the booking details you submit, such as phone number, travel dates, and payment status.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, process bookings, send booking confirmations and OTP codes, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Sign in with Google / Facebook
If you choose to sign in using Google or Facebook, we only request your basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) to create or match your Gulride account. We do not post to your Google or Facebook account or access any other data on your behalf.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in while you use Gulride. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
Data Sharing
We share booking-relevant information (such as your name and phone number) with the transport operator you book with, so they can honor your reservation. We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.
Your Choices
You can update your profile information at any time from your account dashboard, or contact us to request that your account and associated data be deleted.
The Gulride Android App
The Gulride app is a wrapper around this website and does not collect anything beyond what is described above, with two additions. If you grant camera access, it is used only when you choose to attach a photo (for example, to a support message or profile picture) it is never accessed in the background. If notifications are enabled, we store a device push token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) linked to your account so we can send booking updates; you can revoke this at any time from your device's app notification settings, which stops new tokens from being generated.
